Corsairs goin's on, eh? (Whoops, where'd that Canada come from? Musta been that
NHL All-Star game last night.)

along with tha subject:UNSUBSCRIBE. Although, in tha kinda mood I'm in now, I'm
liable ta send ya triple mailin's just fer tha grins a' it. Nothin' is autamated
en tha Corsairs world.
(Not gonna abandon tha vernacular, however. I'm still havin' fun with that.)
EMPORTANT CORSAIRS NEWS:
Ef ya ain't yet heard, Tha Corsairs is gonna be racordin' a bran'-spankin-new
album. Et's gonna be called "9 Live", an' is gonna be a double album racorded
live. One a' tha shiny CD things is gonna be all-new music (of which, I
garrantee ya'll be sapprised at at least 8 a' tha 13 trax. "8" bein' just a
random number in this case. It could be 7, it could be 9. Ya've never heard us
do any a' these songs afore is what I'm sayin', an' I'll eat a mudbug ef ya kin
prove me a liar. [G'Head, prove me a liar . . . I love mudbugs]) Tha other
shiny CD will be "oldie moldy" stuff that fans has axed us ta racord live. (Ef
ya'd been payin' attention, ya coulda voiced yer own apinion on what we should
racord. Ef ya missed it, shame on ya fer not subscribin' earlier, when I set up
a survey website fer exacly this kinda thing.)
So make yer plans now. Saturdy Febyayary 10, yer gonna come ta tha
Open Door Coffee House
in Arlin'ton. Yer gonna pay your cover charge (part a' which benefits charaty,
which is another reezon tha Corsairs loves tha
Open Door).
Yer gonna sit quitely
an' applaud with enthusiasm (ya didn't think I could spell it, did ya?). Yer
gonna have a helluva time, an' yer gonna tell yer granchildern aboot it 30 years
from now, when tha rest a' us is dead an' molderin' in Davy Jones' Locker, Down
Amongst Tha Dead Men, etc.
We has had cammunacation from people that is comin' from all over the country,
New Yark ta Calaforn-eye-ay (an' many ports in-batween), that has decided thay
got ta be witness ta this spectacle. Shouldn't you be there? (Et should be
noted that

Trinaty Yanited Methadest Church. Ya should at least turn out ta see ef Boats
bursts inta flame when he enters. He's some kinda heathern, er somethin'.)
As fer tha rest a' tha shows that we has got booked fer later . . . We shall be

North Texas Irish Fest,
which runs March tha 2
thru tha 4. I ain't been able ta find a schedule at
their website
but I did find a note what says "The selection process for our featured
bands and individual performers is now underway and will be completed by the end
of November, 2006. Website updated Dec 3, 2006". When I checked my sextant this
mornin', et said taday was Jan 25, 2007, but there ya go.

attemtin' ta shake things up this year. He's concerned that tha hard-core
fairegoers might think havin' tha same show at tha same place fer every day of
tha
Faire
might get a little
stale. So tha word in tha lanes is that very few performers is gettin' a full
run. Therefore, ya should be glad that yer Corsairs won't be counted among tha
very few. As I understand it, we is currently scheduled ta appear on tha Crown
Stage durin' tha last 2 weeks only a'
Scarberry
Faire.
Ef yer plannin' a trip in from outta town ta see us, don't come bafore May 19,
is all I'm sayin'. We is currently negotiatin' ta do a few smaller stages tha
first couple a' weeks, but I ain't heard anythin' aboot that lately (Canada
again?). I'd love it fer things ta happen fer us thus-so: ef we aint gonna be
allowed ta do tha full run, we kin do a couple a' weeks en tha White Horse,
Durty Duck, er Lady Hawke, then take a couple a' weeks off, then raturn at tha
end a' tha run ta dominate Tha Bigass Stage fer a while. (I ain't sayin' that
that's what's happenin, I'm just lettin' ya know what we're thinkin').
